The Attorney General Curling League is a fun mixed league that curls at the Fort Rouge Curling Club on Mondays at 5:00 PM from mid-October through March! This site is a main source of information about our league for everyone!

Dumped all last season's Covid announcements into their own page. And we got more this season, so adding them too.
Ties are back!! Yes, back in the 2019-2020 season we voted to eliminate ties, to improve the tie-breaking and Grand Aggregate determinations. BUT! Because of Covid, the Fort Rouge Club Executive asked last season that we take no extra time to finish our games. Including draw to the button tie-breakers. So we went back to ties in Rounds 1 and 2. And we will continue this in our 2021-22 season:
2021-22 Tie Rule: Based on our Executive decision and the latest from the Fort Rouge Club: We are continuing with ties. BUT, if the two skips agree, and there is time, you can throw skip's rocks to declare a winner! This is optional. If there is no agreement, it's a tie!
2022-23 NEW Tie Rule: As of our Oct 17 2022 Skips meeting: We are have abolished ties. If you are tied after regulation time, teams must throw skip's rocks to declare a winner! One rock each. Closest to the pin wins the game!
And as usual, there are no ties in the playoffs.
BELL RULE BACK TO NORMAL! Yes this had changed last year but we're back to normal. When the bell rings, you finish that end, AND play one more, IF you have time. I.E. Should never start an end at 10 to 7. Even 6:45 is pushing it!
Looking for a spare? All skips will be sent a League Contact list for this season. Which has spares listed at the bottom! Also, check any teams that have more than 4 players... perhaps their extra players are looking for a game! Contact their skips and see! Can't hurt.
New Website Look! Yes you might notice that our agcurling.ca website home page looks a little different. Had to change due to old code that was interfering with refreshing pages (ie. the Standings or Schedule pages). That problem is gone now. Any comments (or other problems) please let me know!
